Putin drew the attention of the head of the Tver Region to equipping FAPs

The authorities of the Tver Region should pay attention to the staffing of paramedic stations in the region. Vladimir Putin said this at a meeting with Governor Igor Rudeney on February 4. The President praised the region for the pace of development of manufacturing industry and assessed the prospects of tourism development at local resorts.
What was discussed at the meeting
The gross regional product in the Tver region exceeded 800 billion rubles in 2024. At the same time, the volumes of own production have almost doubled compared to 2017 - in 2024 they reached about 740 billion rubles, said Igor Rudenya.Vladimir Putin also noted the good dynamics of the region in manufacturing industries. "We are growing every year, and quite seriously. This is due to the fact that import substitution and development of our national economy is underway now," Igor Rudenya said.
The President asked the governor of the Tver region to pay attention to the situation in the primary healthcare sector. "There is one issue I would like to ask you to pay attention to - it is staffing of FAPs (paramedic and obstetric stations. - Ed.)," Vladimir Putin said.
New hotels and a water park at the Zavidovo resort will open for tourists in the summer of 2025. The authorities plan to put into operation three more hotels: two four-star and one three-star. The total room stock will reach 1.4 thousand rooms. Vladimir Putin noted that the objects are already in an "advanced state". The governor invited the head of state to take part in their opening or come to inspect the already commissioned hotels. Zavidovo is a resort on the shore of the Ivankovskoye Reservoir in Konakovo district of the Tver region, just 130 kilometers from Moscow. "What beautiful places," Vladimir Putin remarked, assessing the presentation of the resort.
The region plans to attract about 1 million tourists a year, while so far the region attracts just over 600 thousand travelers, Igor Rudenya said. Against this background, he asked the President to support the construction of a new campus of the Russian State University of Tourism and Service to train the necessary number of personnel. It is planned to organize practical work on its territory so that young specialists, among others, would come from other regions of the country and exchange experience.
