The Jewish Easter: When Passover begins in 2025, what should be on the table?

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Passover (the Jewish Passover) is celebrated, which commemorates the exodus of the Jews from Egypt.
Outside of Israel, the celebrations last for eight days, from the evening of April 12 to the night of April 20.
"This holiday commemorates the most important milestone in the history of the Jewish people — the liberation from centuries-old slavery. Its ancient traditions are carefully preserved and passed down from generation to generation," Vladimir Putin said earlier during his congratulations to Russian Jews.
During all the days of the feast, believers do not eat bread and all fermentation products. The reason: the Jews who hurriedly left Egypt did not wait for the bread to ripen, and in the desert they had to eat matzo (unleavened bread).
On the evening of Nisan 14, the whole family gathers for a seder after sunset. The poor and those people who cannot celebrate Passover with their loved ones are also invited to dinner.
Jews eat matzo, maror (bitter greens), haroset (a mixture of grated apples, nuts and dates), and stuffed fish.
Adults drink four glasses of wine — according to the number of promises made by God to the chosen people. The fifth glass is poured and left untouched — it is intended for the Prophet Eliyahu. Prayers are recited during the seder.
