"Darling, I won't Call You Back" is the last film by actress Evgenia Dobrovolskaya, who died in January 2025. In the film, she played the mother of the main character. Young advertiser Danya, played by Nikita Efremov, suffers from delayed life syndrome. In general, like many of us, the guy burns out at work every day, flattering himself with illusory dreams of the future, when he will earn enough to finally stop and enjoy this "here and now". He imagines himself in a mansion by the sea with a beauty from social networks.
Are the plans destined to come true? Suddenly, the guy falls into a coma and finds himself in the hallway of the afterlife in the form of an airport from his latest advertisement. That's the irony of fate: flying is one of Dani's main fears, and there are only two ways, or rather, two flights — to hell or heaven, depending on the balance of good and bad deeds. On request, you can get an extract of sins. Danya does not give up hope of finding another door — home, back to the world of the living, but for now she spends time with the same poor devils in a local bar called "Darling, I won't call you back." The film was shot in sets built at Mosfilm. And advanced technologies of shooting on LED screens were used to create fantastic otherworldly worlds.

On the screen, she was embodied by the actress Vladislava Samokhina. The director was Konstantin Statsky, who shot "The Major" with Priluchny and "Your Honor" with Menshikov.
The plot focuses on the champion's journey from her first steps on the ice, when she realized that she had found her recognition, to victory at the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid. Fate presented her with challenges not only in the sports arena. Having overcome a serious illness, betrayal of a partner, conflict with a coach, thanks to incredible fortitude and thirst for victory, Irina Rodnina was able to challenge the whole world — she returned to the ice to become a legend of Soviet and world sports.
"The Frog Princess" 6+
Directed by Alexander Amirov. Starring: Valentina Lyapina, Alexander Metelkin, Nikita Kologrivy, Roman Kurtsyn, Alisa Rudenko, Viktor Loginov, Elena Ksenofontova, Svetlana Permyakova, Zhanna Markevich.
The folklore plot, familiar to many generations, comes to life on the big screen in modern realities with all the consequences. The frog lives in the pond of the city park. He spends his days watching movies at the summer cinema, until one day he catches (no, not an arrow) a golf ball and turns into a beautiful red-haired girl. In the image of the betrothed Ivan Tsarevich, he is the heir of a wealthy family.
The cast includes actors already familiar to the Russian audience from film versions of other fairy tales. Valentina Lyapina, who embodied the Frog Princess on the screen, was a Princess in the recent "Bremen Town Musicians". Nikita Kologrivy in 2023, in the image of Emelya, dissected on the stove in the film "At the behest of the pike", and now he has tried on Koshchei (the real one, as in a fairy tale, and not like that Kashchei from "The Boy's Word" - although they definitely have something in common). And we remember Alexander Metelkin, a la Ivan Tsarevich, for the role of sailor Ivan in The Flying Ship.

Katya, a young girl, lives in an urban-type settlement with the talking name of Zhupa and wholeheartedly dreams of escaping from the provinces to become a cool fashion designer. She gets even more motivation to leave after she is persistently brought to her to woo a local guy. But the escape attempt proves unsuccessful—once, twice, and a third time. Katya gets stuck in one crazy day. But maybe he's not so bad after all?
