For lovely ladies: Loving SHAMAN and Anton Khabarov — Don Juan

The premieres of two consecutive premieres of NMG Doc are part of a big trend towards bringing documentaries back to the general public. On Sunday, REN TV will air the movie "Where does love live?", and on Wednesday, the mini-series "The body as a gadget. The skin." SHAMAN, Stas Piekha and Vladimir Kuzmin are preparing big solo concerts by March 8, and the Mikhail Matyushin marathon continues in the capital: in addition to a large exhibition of a major Russian avant-garde artist, a concert will be held where works based on the books of his wife Elena Guro will be performed.

The premiere of a documentary film created as part of the "NMG Doc" line in the "Science about Non-science" cycle. Love is an ephemeral concept. However, quite scientific processes are responsible for this feeling. Does this mean that it can be measured and the organ responsible for it can be found? And what kind of organ is this: the heart, the brain, or maybe the skin or the nose?

A group of scientists — physicists, chemists, neurophysiologists, anthropologists, psychologists and representatives of other sciences — embarks on an amazing journey to answer the main question: "Where does love live?". Among the experts: psychologist Tatiana Muzhitskaya, anthropologist Stanislav Drobyshevsky, neurophysiologist Vyacheslav Dubynin. In the film, for the first time in Russia, a scientific experiment will be conducted: using an MRI machine in the brain of a subject, scientists will find and show the viewer the area that is responsible for love.

A concert of music by Mikhail Matyushin. The evening will combine the composer's works based on the texts of all three books by his wife— Elena Guro. The first of them, "Music for Harlequin (Canzone)", was Matyushin's debut as a composer, and the last one, music from the play "Heavenly Camels", was one of his most recent compositions. So the concert turns out to be a journey through the works of two of the most important figures of the Russian avant-garde.The central place in the program is occupied by the score of the musical play "Autumn Dream" (1921), reconstructed by the curator of the exhibition Sergey Uvarov, in which Matyushin himself combined his music from different years, creating an innovative polystylistic collage. Previously, it was believed that this work has not been preserved. However, especially for the exhibition "Love in the avant-garde. Mikhail Matyushin and Elena Guro" according to the discovered manuscripts of the author and in collaboration with the Studio of New Music, it was restored and will be performed at the concert for the first time.

Among the exhibits are kokoshniks made of pearls and cones, a "red corner" made of carding, a lake with jewels, a samovar made of clay, ceramic culture and morocco boots.

Mikhail Matyushin and Elena Guro occupy a special place among the avant-gardists. They stood at the origins of the movement itself, became the founders of its organic branch, experimented in the field of art synthesis and influenced many contemporaries. The story of Matyushin and Guro is the history of Russian art in the first third of the 20th century, with all its sharp turns and metamorphoses. At the same time, it is a story of great love — touching and inspiring.

An exhibition project dedicated to International Women's Day. On an area of 300 sq. m. There are over 200 unique exhibits from the collections of the Victory Museum and the Museum of Moscow. These are authentic clothing samples from the 1950s — numerous dresses, shoes, handbags, as well as various jewelry and cosmetics, including perfume bottles, lipsticks. The guests will see the attributes of the "world of women" of those years — jewelry boxes and sewing accessories, tablecloths and napkins, furniture and interior items, as well as various small things, without which it is impossible to imagine the everyday life of women. The exhibits demonstrate the evolution of post-war fashion in the USSR. The exhibition is complemented by paintings by outstanding Soviet artists — Ekaterina Zernova, Vasily Kosenkov, Mikhail Abakumov and Nikolai Khvatov.

A great way to enjoy the beauty of the icy nature is to visit a large—scale exhibition at Planetarium No. 1.
