The uniqueness of this artist is that for half a century any movie buff considers him a man without age. In him, as if collected a unique set of genes that does not allow him to grow old. To keep himself in shape, Kharatyan used the experience of his respected friends. - This happy accident I regard as a gift of fate, apparently, I was ready for it - says Kharatyan. - Guitar was my main hobby. I was sick, I lived it, like the hero Igor Grushko, about whom Vladimir Menshov made a movie. When I first saw my TV audition on the screen, it was a shock for me, I was of a better opinion of myself. Skinny, slouching, pimply, terribly inexpressive, neobayatnyy. It' s horrible. What a movie! I can not be approved. But Menshov saw something and sent to the movie tests with makeup, costume. When he showed us at "Mosfilm" what he shot, it was just a short movie with music, drama. Very interesting.

"Rozygrysh" was released on the screens of the immense country on January 10, 1977, and on January 11, Dima Kharatyan woke up famous. But, as it seemed to him, his merit in this was not. It was him, speaking the lyrics that he could have spoken in life.

- I was tested with copper pipes in this way, - admits the artist. - And it's good that so. If I had completely blown my head off my own greatness, I do not know if I could continue to do it. This birthday Dima Kharatyan celebrated on the set of "The Drawing". After the scene in the school classroom, the director asked the guys not to disperse.
- And Zinovy Efimovich took out a large sheet of plywood and read: "Dima, congratulate you just need!" I signed, turned the plywood, and there was my portrait from the photo auditions. The whole class and Vladimir Menshov signed it. The next main gift in my life I received at the age of 24. On January 21, my daughter Sasha was born on my birthday.

Blond with blue eyes - the dream of many girls. From his first marriage with actress Marina Burimova, Kharatyan has a daughter Alexandra. But this family boat broke. And for 35 years Dmitry has been devoted to the actress Marina Maiko. Witnesses at their wedding were friends - Garik Sukachev with his wife Olga. They also rejoiced together when Marina and Dmitry had a son. And, as the rock musician admits, he once made him a gift, which Dmitry is very dear. He wrote the artist a song "Zero Kilometer". The story of the song is as follows: Kharatyan lived in Pavshino, where by the road stood a post with a sign "0 km". In difficult times, the musician found an outlet in walks with a friend in the neighborhoods of the village.
- Dimka would lift me from the couch, where I was lying all depressed, and forcefully took me for a walk, - recalls Sukachev. - We crossed the road near this post. The amazing thing is that we were baptized in the same church in Pavshino. But we found out about it when we passed by this marvelous temple. There are many coincidences in our lives. From his balcony in Myakinino I could see my village house, where I grew up. Across the river. It's gone now. And the Kharatians don't live there. But from my village house I could see his house. Now they've built a lot of huge high-rises there and you can't see anything.
My friend, Dimka
Dmitry Kharatyan cherishes his friends. His entourage was formed in his youth, and since then with these people he goes step by step. Rock musician Garik Sukachev met the popular artist in the late 1980s. In 1992, when the great Soviet cinematography ended its existence along with the huge country, to somehow survive Sukachev decided to shoot the movie "Cockroach Runs". The picture never appeared on wide screens, but it helped both the director and the actors to earn money. In the main role in that cooperative movie then Igor Ivanovich shot Dmitry Kharatyan. And when Sukachev thought about his full-fledged directorial debut in 1997, the first person he thought of was a friend. "Midlife Crisis" became a landmark movie of the 1990s.
- Ivanov Okhlobystin and I wrote the script on Dima, - shared with "Izvestia" Garik Sukachev. - I wanted him to star not in a comedy, but in a dramatic material, which, in fact, and happened. We did not have any casting. Zhenya Dobrovolskaya, Ivan Okhlobystin, Mikhail Efremov, Fyodor Bondarchuk and Dima - we are all young. Money was scarce. So I shot the movie quickly, in just 26 days. There were no royalties either. And the artists brought their own clothes. Dima wore a 1956 raincoat, Chinese factory "Druzhba". It hangs in my dacha.

- In 33, 37, 42 years I had crises, I went through it all, - admits the People's Artist. - These years of my life were boundary years. At 33 I suddenly felt that my body began to fall apart. And I realized - it is necessary to engage in health. Then the sport appeared.
